Several people has responded to the posts on Coherence generators, and
asked several questions I will address here:

First, I am indeed refering to the device which claims to protect you
from the effects of power lines. The power lines carry a very tightly
regulated frequancy, and also are very pure in frequancy content,
there are few harmonics. This is a highly deterministic signal, and
not at all chaotic.

According to the descriptions I have read, the "Coherence Generator"
device emits a deterministic wave, which is supposed to protect you
from the "chaos" of power line radiations.

Clearly, this makes little sense, as power line signals are not
chaotic. Something is being misunderstood along the way here.

Others have mentioned the effects of broadcast signals as well as
power line emissions, but these also are highly deterministic. Far
more power is present in the carrier wave than is used to carry the
information content of the transmission itself. While there are some
transmission formats which attempt to change exactly this, the signals
being transmitted are also higly deterministic themselves, compounding
the problem.

A simple examination of power line and EM emissions will prove this to
be true.

Menton is also made of the 8 hertz "Schuman" resonance signals, but
apparently very few have actually examined this signal, it is highly
chaotic, and not at all deterministic. While is does center around a
single frequancy, it's phase noise and amplitiude and frequancy
modulations are highly chaotic, far more so than broadcast signals or
power line emissions. I should also add that there are more than this
single Schuman resonance, there are in fact a series of them.

Any device which proports to protect the user from these emissions,
and claims to do so by radiating another deterministic signal should
be suspect. Devices which radiate a non-deterministic signal on the
other hand, should be compared to Lakhoviski's Multi-Wave Oscillator
in it's ORIGINAL implementations, not the more recent devices based on
concenteric antenna's and tesla coil like devices advanced by some
firms.

Lakhoviski's original prototype did use such a crude approach, but
Lakhoviski quickly redesigned his device, and greatly improved it's
operation. What is little known is that the later designs used custom
made tubes with resonant circuits tuned to specific frequancies which
mixed fractlaly to produce a specific chaotic attractor based signal,
not just any chaotic signal, but a signal with a specific frequancy
ratio and harmonic content.

Most "modern" Multi-Wave Oscillators produce a high degree of
deterministic electromagnetic signal emissions which not only violate
FCC regualtions, but are far more harmful than benificial. These
devices are so far removed from the meaning of Lakhoviski's original
designs, and more to the point the heart of his work, that they should
not be grouped together at all.

Because there is so much confusion about how these devices operate,
and as to how Electromagnetic radiation effects living tissue in the
first place, I would have to reccomend that people stay away from the
"Coherence Generator" as well as the so called "Multi-Wave
Oscillators" as currently promoted by one of the larger information
firms in the field.

Compare these devices with what is known, and to what is written by
Lakhoviski and others. The story told about the "Coherance Generator
protecting" against "Chaos" is clearly pure bunk. the same is sadly
true for the "Multi-Wave Oscillators" currently being promoted, these
devices are so far from the inventors original intent and later work
as to make them a completely different device, and a totaly unknown
one at that.

I've looked into the EM / health issues, as well as devices which
specifically address CFS and "autoimmune" disorders. I have a number
of therories on these subjects, and have constructed experimental
devices to address these theories. What little I can say with any
conviction now is this, the reason the causal link between
Electromagnetic radiation and biological effects is unclear is because
all the testing done so far makes the assumption that all EM fields
are equal, and that only field strength is a variable.

Recent developments in physics, specifically the Aharnov-Bohm effect
show this assumption may indeed be flawed. The magnetic field is more
complex that is generally known, and electromagnetic fields as well
may have a "substructure" which could account for the diverse results
such tests produce. There are in fact more variables than the simple
magnitude of the fields to factor into any meaningful analisis.

The same is true for any device which claims to address this process.
Simply caliming that the body needs more "order" is exactly wrong in
my opinion. Get your money back! More "order" may only take
advantage of the frequancy following effect of the human brain and
make you feel "less" which then appears to feel "better". These
phenomena are actually quite complex, as "feeling better" might then
have a real health effect as a second order phenomena.

A much better approach would be to induce the "feeling better" effect
without highly ordered signals, such as is done with chaoticly
modulated neural entrainment devices. This way the mind-body
interaction might be directed to bring about a better state of health
without increasing the amount of ordered EM radiation exposure.

Just my opinions here. Take these with a grain of salt, as with any
others opinions as well.
