As our solar system draws nearer to the Central Sun, Revati, round

which we revolve once every 24,000 years, the grasping power of people's
minds increases. As we are on the dawn of a New Age, it is deemed fitting
that secrets previously kept hidden in a Monastery from the eyes of the
profane can now be released to the public. Always pray for protection. May
your guardian angel grant you safe passage to your new home, created for you
in the Name of God. And may you always pray for the highest good
for all mankind everywhere. The Third Eye Meditation by
Jon Locke: This is a picture of the single eye mentioned in the Bible: "If
therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."
Matthew 6:22. During deep meditation, this eye becomes visible in the middle
of the forehead. The eye is omniscient and is mentioned in various
scriptures as the third eye, the star of the East, inner eye, dove
descending from heaven, eye of Shiva, eye of intuition. It is described by
Paramahansa Yogananda in AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI. These are the instructions
for the Third Eye Meditation. It is best to do this when you have an hour to
be alone. Turn off all lights in the room. Sit in a comfortable chair and
relax. Music is optional and should be soft and uplifting. Open with your
favorite prayer. If you don't have one you may use one of mine:"Heavenly
Father, Divine Mother, Jesus Christ, Krishna, Mohammed, Moses, Confucius,
Saints and Sages of all religions, we humbly bow to you all. May thy love
shine forever on the sanctuary of our devotion; and may we be able to awaken
they love in all hearts, everywhere. OM, PEACE, SHANTI, AMEN." - by
Paramahansa Yogananda. Light incense if this makes you feel better. Look at
the Picture of the Vision of the Third Eye. Allow the attention to flow
toward the star in the center of the picture. Count slowly to 144. Then
close the eyes and count to 144 again. You may notice an image appear with
your eyes closed, but the colors are reversed. Continue flowing the
attention into the space inside the circle. See if you can see the star.
Keep looking between the eyebrows if you cannot yet see anything. After
counting to 144, open the eyes and look at the picture again. Focus your
eyes on the center star. notice how fringes may seem to move. let them. but
continue to flow your attention toward the center. Count to 144 looking at
the star in the center. Close the eyes and count to 144 continuing to look
at the Inner Light. Open the eyes and count to 144. Do not be distracted by
anything at this time. You may see the picture move. This is not due to any
programing from my web site. Though you will find out later the third eye is
really interactive in mystical ways. Someday you may even be able to see the
air between you and the picture. But please continue to repeat the closing
and opening of the eyes. Close the eyes and remain in silent meditation for
as long as you like. You may wish to turn the computer off or move away so
you can be sure the image you are seeing is not the computer light. (Do not
strain the eyes at any time. If the eyes become tired or feel strained,
discontinue the practice.) Someday you will be able to see the light in your
head without going to the picture first. Whether with or without the visual
aid, however, you can gain beneficial results. When you see the light within
, this is the time to pray for what you want. Ask and ye shall receive.î
After some practice you will be able to relax so much that you will be able
to concentrate fully on the Vision so that you will be able to leave your
body asleep and travel through the Third Eye. Those who go into the golden
ring will be in the Astral, dream world of the 4th dimension. Where you go
from here depends upon your imagination for it is the Image - I - Nation
which creates everything you see at this level. You travel at the speed of
thought so it is best you decide a destination before you depart. So have
this in mind before you begin the meditation. You can even travel to other
astral worlds and visit astral beings. (See AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF A YOGI by
Paramahansa Yogananda, Chapter The Resurrection of Sri Yukteswar.") When
you enter the dark blue middle of the Third Eye, you will be in the Causal
World, the 5th dimension, known to your religions as Heaven. Here you will
meet with all the Saints and Sages who have gone before you. When you
penetrate the star in the middle you will meet The Christ. When you do this
often enough Christ will come into your heart and live with you forever. As
Jesus said, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the
beginning of the creation of God.... Behold I stand at the door and knock;
if any one hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to them and
will sup with them, and they with me.î New Testament, Revelation 3:14, 20.
The Third Eye is a door, or opening, or vortex. Philosophy is the study of
knowledge. A philosopher is someone who loves to learn something new. I
sense there are a lot of philosophers out there who would like to learn more
about this Vision of the Third Eye. I suggest you read Sri Yukteswar's book
THE HOLY SCIENCE for further details. For now we suffice with a quote:
Philosophers, being able to comprehend the internal electrical Light that
shines within them, find their hearts love flowing energetically toward the
Light that relieves them of all the causes of excitation, cools down the
nervous system to a normal state, and, invigorating their vital powers,
makes them perfectly healthy, both in body and mind. They then accept this
Light as their Divinity or Savior.î The picture of The Third Eye was drawn
in ClarisWorks by Jon Locke. He retains full rights to it and these
meditation instructions. However, sincere students are welcome to download
it and print it out for use in private and distribute it so long as no
charge is made for this picture or meditation instructions. It is the
tradition of my teachers that spiritual truth should not be restricted to
those who have money, but should be given freely to all who sincerely seek
it. The vision of the third eye was given to me by my guru Paramahansa
Yogananda on his birthday celebration in 1968. I was reading in a footnote
in Self- Realization Fellowship Magazine that a fully enlightened guru does
not need to receive gifts on his birthday and therefore he enjoys giving
gifts to his disciples on that day. I was practicing the OM technique (Yoni
Mudra) at the time and needed some help in seeing the third eye which is the
object of the technique. I thought of asking the Master for help so I
entered that in my opening prayer the morning of his birthday. No sooner had
I begun than a bright golden light appeared in the darkness. Thrilled beyond
words I nevertheless maintained a steady gaze into the center of the vision
as instructed previously. The golden light formed two semicircles, which I
was later to learn were the electric couples which form creation. Soon they
joined into a beautiful round circle of bright golden light. It was moving
as if they were flames. Next I saw the star in the center . It was
brilliant, with so many points I could not count them all. Then I remembered
this was the time to ask for anything you want. I thought I will ask for
this vision to return to me any time I do this meditation. And indeed it
does! I have used it over the years to bless my life and that of others. Jai
Guru. My way of thanking Yogananda is to spread this gift to the world so
that everyone may enjoy the benefits of creating their own reality from a
higher level. I am not the best artist in the world but I have attempted to
recreate for you a reasonable facsimile. Meditating on this image helps
reproduce it in your mind. Do not let anyone tell you it is just a retinal
image retained for awhile. With continued practice you will be able to see
the light magnify in your head until it is all you see. And then you can
merge with it and become One with the Light. It is not a figment of your
imagination because there is something on the other side responding to you.
Whenever you take a step toward God, God takes a step toward you. This
increasing response manifests in your daily life over a period of time as
greater health, clarity of thought and happiness. In other words the third
eye IS Interactive. Whatever thoughts and feelings you put into it will come
back out, and in great abundance. Don't expect a lot the first time. It
takes practice. But doing this once a day for a month or so will definitely
bring results. The best times to meditate are 6 am, 12 noon, 6 pm and 12
midnight. This is when helpful magnetic vibrations flow around the earth
from the Himalayas. Of course everyone is not able to meditate at these
times. But great power can be maintained when a lot of people join together
in a group meditation. Since there is no distance in Reality, because you
transcend time and space during meditation, it is quite simple for us to
meditate all around the world. You may use this Third Eye Meditation when
you are asked to join in a stargate or ritual meditation on a Global basis.
Even a few people in each time zone could meditate for one hour each. This
would link us up into a continuous 24 hour third eye prayer vigil. All we
need is to chose the same topic. Perhaps the word PEACE is best known around
the world for a good subject to meditate on. THE GREATEST SECRET IN THE
UNIVERSE? If you knew God would give you anything you wanted, what would YOU
ask for? I see some of you want sex. I see a Rolls Royce. Cars. Houses.
Enlightenment? What is enlightenment? happiness? Then why not just pray for
happiness? You can sit in meditation and think of your happiest moments.
relax and go deeper into a happy place. use the third eye to ask for
happiness. it could come as a laugh. you could see your life as a comedy
show. instead of failures you could see yourself bungling over obstacles and
bringing humor to the audience. Or you could change all the times you missed
out on someone you loved, you could say, "I chose to turn THEM down! This
way you could rewrite your entire life. Like when you dropped the ball just
before making the winning score. Turn it into a moment when you figured you
would get more attention as a goof than as a winner. you were never out of
work. You were between jobs. You were never divorced. you were between
husbands. All we are saying is you can sit quietly and be happy . Give
praise to God. Thank God you are alive. you incarnated for these times.
Because they are unique in the history of the universe. (see Drunvalo's "A
Love Story.") WE are in a time when we are in Free Fall. It has never
happened in three universes created and destroyed before this one. But now
Divine Intervention is at hand, moving over the face of the earth. "It
creeps in on little cat paws." like a fog, only thinner. you breath it in.
it protects you from all harm. It is not escapism. You are creating a
place with in you where you can take with you through the day. I HATE TO
MEDITATE ! For those of you who hate to meditate it is probably because you
think the object is to turn off your mind like a TV set and go blank. No
master has ever said to do that. the Void is but the doorway to the 4th
dimensional light and sound of god. the ringing of the ears may be a phone
call from God. Answer it! Place your attention gently on it. Focus on it
until it becomes louder. Then merge with it. You will then master the earth
chakra at the base of the spine. This is the bumble bee sound you have been
hearing. Once you master this sound by merging with it, you will feel the
earth as your own. you will be able to feel earthquakes and weather patterns
and near future earth changes as experiences in your own body. Charlotte
King is such a person. This also gives you power over the elements. However
the Heart CHARKA is the one to concentrate on. It actually sounds like two
big gongs. Then make a sound like: "Bong......Bong.......Bong........"
Krishna's Flute may be heard at the throat chakra. Of course all of them
mixed together sound like the rushing of mighty waters. This is the AUM
vibration as measured by scientists as 7.83 Hertz or 7.83 cycles per second.

WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR THIRD EYE.

Since the third eye will give you whatever you ask for, it is important to
ask for good things. Never ask that harm come to another person. Always
bless and forgive people who have harmed you. This is for YOUR protection
because it releases you to continue beyond resentments which hold you back
on the level of the person you are thinking about. Also start out with easy
things to manifest. Do not try to precipitate gold coins out of the air.
This has been done, but not by beginners. If you are in poverty it is better
to pray for understanding. According to the laws of Karma, you chose to be
in that circumstance. Unless you understand why you are in need, you will
not be able to get out of it. Even if you got some gold, you would spend it
or give it away if you are an overspender. A survey of lottery winners
followed them for one year. 100% of them returned to their previous level of
income. That shows we block ourselves from prosperity for various scenarios
for our learning. For example we feel we do not deserve success because we
took a vow of poverty in a former life. We think money=sin. So who want want
filthy lucre around the house if one thinks it is evil. So if you are
sitting in a cold shake with nothing you like to eat in the refrigerator
and the car is in need of repair, think: you have fulfilled a thought
pattern from you subconscious mind. So to be prosperous we remove that
block. To do this we can pray into the third eye and go into our
subconscious mind and find that black spot/inhibition which is blocking our
light.
Now you can take that example to remove other blocks which may be keeping
you from happiness and success.
There are so many things you can do with the 3rd eye they cannot all be
mentioned in public... There are good books on the subject and I encourage
you to read them. One of these is PatanjaliÕs YOGA SUTRAS which describes
psychic powers. One of them says, ÒContemplation of the Light Within Brings
Realization of the Activity of Energy on All Levels, from Subtle to Gross
Manifestations. Since there is only one substance (God), and is everywhere
manifest, we can become aware of this and change this substance into
whatever we want to help us in our path to enlightenment. Sri Yukteswar's

For example in praying for money we should see ourselves as prosperous.
Whosoever asks, believing he has received it, shall indeed have it." New
Testament.After putting that image in the third eye in the morning we may be
lead to find a job or better situation during that same or another day. In
some cases a check came in the mail after 5 days of this practice. But
whatever time it takes to remove old patterns, a daily flushing of the 3rd
eye will help to keep them open to receive abundance.
Traveling With the 3rd Eye. We all know how lovers can be thinking of each
other over a distance. That is because Love tunes us in with others. Mothers
are aware when their children are in danger, even over thousands of miles.
So likewise you can send messages with the third eye to anyone. When you
concentrate on the point between the eyebrows, whether you see it or not,
imagine a picture of the person you wish to send a message to. They may be
sitting or sleeping. See them receiving the message. It may take several
days but they will have a dream of you. If you set up a person in advance to
practice this with you will have even more success. Of course to receive a
message you tune into the Heart. This is the sounding board of INCOMING
MESSAGES. The 3rd eye is the SENDING or transmitter.
