On the Lunascan homepage, is file "Seti Probe," which discusses the recent
discovery of a possible alien probe.
Its course was calculated backwards, and it made a close swing to Earth
in the 1950s. Back then, it would have been much harder to deted.
I recall (but couldn't locate) that the New York Times reported a strange
object that might an allien probe in Earth orbit, or so the book I was reading
described the article as saying. The interesting thing about this recently
found possible probe, is that it was in range of detection when Clyde
Tombaugh, discoverer of Pluto, was recruited by some agency I forget which, to
study what are now called Near Earth Objects, specifically this thing.
This leaked out once, then we don't hear anything more about it.

http://www.advweb.com/kw scroll down to Mars related stuff. There are
water clouds there, according to NASA, that, according to photos are of
structures that, according to Earth weather books, can't form at the low
pressures NASA says characterize Martian atmosphere.
